Happy May Day everyone! Sunrise over the Atlantic taken from the beach at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge on Assateague Island in Virginia. This photo was taken on April 18th and it was the first time I had been out this year that the sunrise had transitioned away from the cooler and more subtle winter sunrise towards the warmer and more dramatic summer sunrises. The color has not been manipulated in Photoshop. Just a quick post, now it's time to get ready for work.

A Sunrise for the Morning
