Herons and Egrets
Wading Birds - Images by Elijah Goodwin
Exciting things are on their way! I haven't posted for a while because I've been busy building my full commercial site. The site is up, but I won't officially launch until I have more of my images uploaded and properly keyworded. In the meantime, please enjoy this slideshow of some of my favorite older heron and egret images. I highly recommend clicking on the "screen with an arrow" icon to get the full screen slideshow for a much better effect (just press "Esc" when you are done). You can also click on the up arrow to get the embed code to embed this slideshow on your own personal webpage or blog. You might have noticed the new search tool on the side bar when you logged in. This widget allows you to search my full website for images, but remember, currently only about 1/4 of my catalog is uploaded (expanding almost daily). More announcements soon. I hope to officially launch by the end of the month.
Also on the sidebar, Whimbrel Nature Photography now has a Facebook page! Stop by for a visit and check out a (currently) Facebook exclusive collection of Denali wildflower images. If you like what you see on any of my websites, please consider becoming a fan.

Eli, I love the one with the egret twisting its head upside down to look under its outspread wing! You may yet inspire me to put some of our honeymoon photos on Flickr (we went to Galapagos and Machu Picchu). I have one good blue heron photo, and it isn't nearly as dramatic or beautiful as yours.ReplyDelete
