Celebrating Early Fall in Shenandoah National Park
Shenandoah September27 - Images by Elijah Goodwin
On the day before All Hallow's Eve, I thought I'd post this gallery of images I took at Shenandoah National Park in late September. This was a great trip with lots of wildlife to photograph and experience, including 5 black bears (sorry too dark for good shots) and a peregrine falcon chasing and being chased by a kettle of ravens. As usual, I recommend clicking on the Full Screen Slideshow button to get the best experience of these images.
Hopefully tomorrow I can add some images taken during peak foliage in October at Dolly Sods and Blackwater Falls State Park in West Virginia. Keep checking the main website (http://www.bestnatureimages.com/); I hope to do some major uploading over the weekend and have my official launch very soon. I also hope to get out locally on Sunday for some long awaited photography, but the weather is not super promising. I hope you were able to get out and enjoy this wonderful fall.
