Waders on Wednesday-Tricolored Heron

Been busy the last few days trying to finish up work stuff and prepare for my trip down to St. Augustine.  I'll be leaving Friday afternoon and returning late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning.  It will be a whirlwind trip, but I'm really looking forward to the chance to photograph the egret and heron chicks and adults in breeding plumage, plus the new roseate spoonbill chicks.  In anticipation of my trip, here is another image I made in the rookery at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm last March.  I was the only photographer who stayed "after-hours" on this day (it had been rainy earlier) and I photographed this tricolored heron (Egretta tricolor) in the low-angle evening light.  I probably won't be very active on the net until next week.  So until then, everyone have a great weekend!  I'll be done with school commitments next week, so I'll start approximately three months of relatively full-time dedication to my photography (can't wait).
