Waders on (Thursday): A Few More St. Augustine Images

Sorry for the long break in posts folks.  I was away on a family vacation in the Adirondacks and did not have access to internet or any reliable signal on my phone.  I'm trying to get caught up with a backlog of images and editing, so bear with me.  Today's (day late) Waders on Wednesday post features some more images from my trip to the wild rookery at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm, in St. Augustine, FL, earlier this summer.  Enjoy and expect a rapid-fire series of posts before I go on my "final" summer vacation (a short backpacking trip with neighbors).  Yeah, I know, it's tough having your summers off.

  1. What gorgeous shots, Elijah! I'm lucky to live in an area where I have lots of egrets and herons and I love photographing them. Your images are spectacular!

  2. Thanks BirdGalAlcatraz! I appreciate the kind comments. Do you have any rookeries in your area? Or are you seeing mostly post-dispersal birds?
